Dear Mr. Frost,
Following your mother's recent downturn in general wellbeing, i am writing once again to request that you come and visit her. I cannot stress how much a visit from a family member can do to calm and aid a person in your mother's condition. Despite the weakness caused by her refusal of sustenance, we are forced to keep her restrained around the clock, as she shows remarkable fits of violence and did harm to one of our nurses last Friday. Luckily nobody was seriously hurt, but our patience is running short.
If you cannot take the trouble to visit your mother, Mr. Frost, you may regret it in the near future, for a woman of her age and in her condition to keep refusing food in this way can only end poorly. We hope we will be hearing from you soon to set up a visitation period.
