Hey all,
As you may or may not know, i play Teddy, a teacher who may or may not have full control of his faculties. And i'm trying to think of some potential minor inter-personal plots he can get involved with if anybody is interested.
Tutelary Genius
A student of the fifth petal (or perhaps just a a gifted biologist) approaches Teddy for further tuition on his particular brand of science/philosophy/theology. Over time the student becomes somewhat of a protege. However, Theodore's experiments take them to a darker place than they had first intended. Do they follow their mentor and abandon their principles, or can they resist this invitation to the altogether more destructive truths of the modern world?
Whistleblower
(potentially following on from previous)
A fellow member of the faculty stumbles quite unexpectedly upon the remnants of some of Teddy's research. Nothing is explicit but it appears as though he has been conducting experiments on pupils. Though to what purpose? Do they confront Teddy directly with their fears or do they take it immediately to a higher authority? Or do they perhaps find a way to use this information to their advantage?
The Match
By some fluke of bad planning, the arranged betrothal Teddy had been entered into as a child was never formally dissolved following his 10-year disappearance. The two involved had never met previously, but are working as a part of the same faculty when the news breaks. How will the match feel, knowing they were bound all this time to one presumed dead? And how will Teddy confront the prospect of disobeying the wishes of his late father, and refusing a holy promise.
More may come by as i think of them. If you are interested in getting involved just post on here or drop me a line. Or if you have any ideas of your own just send them my way. I'm of course also happy to just strike up a RP and see what develops organically as well. Looking for the basic friends/allies/irrational dislikes/rational dislikes/dissaproving stares/passionate affairs etc.
