Description: Quite small for his age, Ari has the look of a little boy instead of a fifteen-year-old. With a lean figure and long legs you would expect him to worship a petal of something that had to do with sneaking around and being a shadow, not a creative inventor. But he does and even finds it in him to not trip over his own feet most of the time. That being said he isn't much of a fighter, more talented in the arts of defense and running away than actually standing up tall and proud. With pale blonde hair that appears almost golden in the sunshine and the darkest blue of eyes that almost look purple, how could you want to hurt such a sweet face? A natural born clutz, it's not rare to find a dark and almost angry bruise here and there, marring his milky and pale complexion. It's a mystery how a kid who spent most of his time outside was able to keep his pale and sickly look for so long, but he did. And even now his ability to keep his volatile hair tidy and his clothes clean are kept to a minimum. (The only time he makes an effort is when he visits home.)
Personality: In much accordance to his size, Ari does act quite a lot like the little boy he is usually thought to be. He has this innocent naivety about him that is both laughable and frustrating at the same time and not to mention he can barely keep his attention on a single subject for perhaps more than a minute. All rolled up into one, you have a hyperactive and quite awkward kid who honestly doesn't know what he's doing and at the same time wants you to think he's experienced and ready for the real world.
As a young boy with not much size on his side, Ari wasn't quite able to fight as he wanted to many times and instead took on the more defensive modes required to stay calm and get your butt out of there before someone hurt you. Ari is a coward. There is really nothing more you can say about it. Ari is sometimes spooked by even his own shadow and if you even lift a hand up around him he cringes away with a grimace of the expectance of some harsh brutality taken towards him. He isn't good at fighting and yet he still somehow forces himself to stand his ground until the fists or blunt instruments come out. In that case, you won't even see him as he flies for the nearest exit.
What he loses in his cowardice and hyperactivity he makes up for in his loyalty and kindness. He absolutely loves making new friends and as long as you can deal with his subdominant demeanor everything will be perfectly fine. Ari will literally talk your ear off and always appears to have his own ideas about stuff that could get you in trouble or playing a pretty sweet prank around school. However don't expect him to stick around to take the punishment. Once a coward always a coward, but he will always try to make it up to you no matter what for taking the blame. Your secrets are also quite safe. For someone so talkative, Ari honestly has a tendency to keep his trap shut about important stuff and therefore isn't known for spilling beans about anything important in your life that you would rather keep secret.
This boy is also quite creative. He has an imagination like you wouldn't believe and what he sees he usually wants to put into real life. This is pretty much the only time you can ever see him actually patient enough to sit still and wait something out. If it involves putting one of his ideas into the real world, nothing can stop him or break his focus. (At least, almost nothing.)
Despite his talkative kindness and willingness to be friends with anyone, Ari is quite awkward and actually has quite a temper on him. What he lacks in strength and bravery, he makes up for in his words. Mostly his words are what gets him into trouble since he can't seem to understand when it's finally time to shut up. Mainly he can talk the talk but he can't really walk the walk. His awkwardness can also fill a whole room in a lot of situations. He doesn't really know how to handle himself in a lot of romantic situations and usually always ends up turning various shades of pink and senselessly babbling for the entire duration of these problems.
History: Born a sickly only child, his parents simply decided that it would do better to have just one child who needed constant attention than many who had to grow up tough or not at all. Therefore they gave their first and only born son a chance and decided to keep him and nurture him to something great. Or at least as great as a peasant could ever hope to be. Due to this chance, Ari's childhood actually wasn't something too terrible. His mother pampered him to the best of her abilities and although both of his parents were cold and a bit calculating (especially his dad) he always grew up with the fact that they loved him enough to let him live.
His mother's "pampering" pretty much consisted of occasionally baking him a sweet and a stiff awkward hug here and there. You would expect someone to be much more kinder to their kin, but even her own child couldn't soften her heart. His father on the other hand was determined to make due with what he got from all the hopes and dreams he had for his child. He was determined to make Ari a fighter and one that would never back down and make his way in the world, whether he had to push his way through or not.
In fact, this was probably why he got into so many fights as a child. When you were taught that anything was a provocation for one, and you had the thought of making your father proud for once weighing on you if you beat this other kid up, who wouldn't want to? Besides, he was just a child, still is a child and he is a people pleaser no matter where you look at it. If throwing a punch would make someone he looks up to proud, why not?
When he utterly failed and proved himself to be useless in fighting his way through the world or even taking up other tasks, he was sent to the academy despite his mother and father needing the extra income. The way they both saw the matter laid out before them was that they could either send their invalid child somewhere where he couldn't cause any trouble for them or they had to lock him in the house constantly and make sure he didn't do anything stupid to cause them to lose anything. Seeing how he was just as much trouble as he was useless, they both agreed on the first option and decided that the more out of the way he was, the better.
Other: If you have a face he can and will talk to you, no matter what your opinion about the matter. Even if you try to ignore him, he will give it his best shot. Also, he shows slight interest in the seventh petal but denies it most of the time.
Relationships: None at the moment.
