Ade followed him into the room, her jaw still agape at they moved through the door. Paintings littered the walls, her curiosity dragging her to the nearest portrait as she ran her hands over the fine canvas.
She was interrupted by a curt "Please don't touch that" from the waiter. She reeled her arm back to its side, mumbling "Sorry" as she took her seat. She didn't know what the big deal was - it was just some oil painting of a ship.
She looked at the menu, her fingers trickling down the paragraphs with delight. The waiter was confused, although he did an excellent job in covering it up.
There really was no purpose for doing this. Her order was set in her mind long before they entered the restaurant.
"I'll just have water. The bread basket would be nice, too. Aid?"
They had to order drinks too?
"Yeah, water's cool," She said casually. She was tempted to kick back and swing her legs over the table, although every fiber in her body knew it would be wrong.
She was a bit bemused as he referred to her as "m'lady", a grin cracking her face. "Will do, good sir!" She replied in the most dignified manner, which fell back on apparent traces of sarcasm.
It was maybe five seconds after the waiter left that she pressed the button.
He strolled in, a notepad in his hands as he greeted them. Her finger remained on the button.
"Ready to order, I presume?"
His aura was somewhat irritated as her finger continued to hit the button. She was apparently amused by the very simple means of communication.
"Spaghetti," She said, pressing the button.
"And would you, ah, like meatballs?"
"Yeup."
"Excellent. Now that I've got your order, how about you?" He said, emphasizing the fact that he got order before turning towards Amadeus.
Ade removed her hand from the button, the waiter's amplified annoyance deteriorating.
She inwardly let the button know that she'd be back for more.
