Description: Luxis is a slender, fair-skinned girl of an average height (5'4") that she ramps up with her three inches or more high heeled boots. She is best known for her delicate-looking frame, specifically in the lack of fat and appearance of little muscle. In truth, the lithe teenager when first entering the Academy indeed had little strength in her body, but has since developed muscle strength throughout her entire body over the past three years. Her extremely long, straight golden-blonde hair is lightly layered and falls just below her hips, her thick bangs hanging a little past her lips and touching the bottom of her chin over her right eye. She normally wears a plain black headband to hold away the hair from her face when training/fighting. Sapphire blue irises of an extremely vivid color are framed by long, curling black lashes. Luxis was additionally blessed with a straight, thin nose and pale pink curving lips; her fair skin resists all attempts to tan, and even sunburn, having a natural born resistance against the sun. In addition, she does have a tattoo located just before her wrist on her left arm; its a funky black spiraling artistic thing that she and the rest of the members of the Lighttouch Craftsmen Guild have. Her ears are not pierced - she never had time back then for 'frivolous' things and she certainly is much too busy now to have them done. Preferably, she wears light (what others may call "skimpy") clothing that is both practical and cute, such as a crop top and a pair of short shorts. She doesn't get cold easily. Perhaps the only thing strange about the girl is the way her eyes can shift from a youthful innocence to a stony maturity matching any transition from playful, girly movements to strong, almost arrogant ones.
Personality: Luxis is a girl of many aspects, and hard to describe in a few words. One thing is for certain, however, and that is in all things that she is and does she always goes full out and strong. She was raised to become a hard-working perfectionist with attention to detail, and so she has become, but she was also raised to be humble and less...exuberant. That didn't happen. If you got it, flaunt it, right? Just don't be a conceited show-off either. She believes there is no point in only putting half of yourself into anything, but one must always try their best. If you work hard enough, anything is possible, and all that. People are meant to be pushed and the lambs naturally look for their shepherd - an individual who is both distant and one of the people. Her natural beauty and charisma aids Luxis in converting followers to her side, drawn in by a charming smile and a few carefully chosen words. They know her by her morals, and her heart. She can be like an angel fallen from heaven...or a demon dredged from the bowels of hell. An angry Luxis is someone you want to stay far away from, not so much because she's likely to chop you into pieces with her tomahawk, but because there's just something really creepy about her flashing, chilly blue eyes and the way the words drip out of her mouth toxically sweet...and you keep feeling like she's watching you even when you can see clearly that her pupils are not focused on you, and she's taking way too much pleasure in sharpening her tomahawk. Gulp. No, you want the Luxis that flashes you these smiles that warm your entire being and spends extra time working with you. It's almost like she doesn't even realize the affect she has on people (but of course she does).
History: The Ra family have been craftsmen for centuries and are perhaps one of the most established and highly respected craftsmen in Atlantis. They, alongside other equally well-known craftsmen families, founded the Lighttouch Craftsmen Guild which seeks to uphold quality and excellence in all manners of skilled labor production. Among the lower classes, the Guild is something of a religion, standard, and privilege all in one. The members keep their trade secrets, each having a tattoo by their fourteenth birthday or the time of their joining, and are regularly sought out for their experience and hard-work. However, craftsmen are still craftsmen no matter how high they may appear to be, and to the upper classes the Lighttouch Craftsmen Guild was nothing but the tool to make the luxury goods they wanted. Few guild members were ever sent to the Academy since its founding as their place was of course in the guild - not becoming Blacksmiths or Entrepreneurs which was all a craftsman should want to become if they were indeed sent to the Academy. However, Luxis was not your average girl. She was the second daughter, younger by four years, and by the time she was five it was clear she would have to be watched carefully. For one, she had the looks of a noble's daughter and not that of a craftsman's. Secondly, she would run off first chance she got to who knows where. Thirdly, she occasionally would make these strangely adult comments that no little girl should be able to make. What were they going to do with her? It got only worse as the girl grew as she had little talent in craftsmanship and normally got lost in thought whenever a guild member was attempting to 'teach' her. Her parents couldn't seem to lock her in her room - she was gone before they knew it - and so Luxis spent her time observing others and reading up on the Mistlings. There was only one thing to do at last: send her to the Academy. To their surprise (and secret pleasure), their daughter flourished in the Academy. She was smart, capable, and determined to succeed. She found the First Petal to her calling at last despite its lack of magical powers and distance from her humble background.
Other: Luxis's chosen weapon is the Tomahawk which she keeps on her person at all times (outside of her room). Her Tomahawk is inscribed with her name along the hilt and also features a single amethyst set above the grip and a decorative hawk feather bound around the hammer side. Made of maple, it's slightly longer and slimmer than the average tomahawk at its cutting edge from toe to heel.
Relationships: Member of the Lighttouch Craftsmen Guild
