This will be separated into several posts to allow for ease of navigation because I'm blabbing a LOT on the thread. Like I'm going to break out of my normal informative tone and just go all over, because I'm really sorry about how much blabber is going on right here.

Religion has historically been one of the most difficult things for humans to understand. It's a realm where fantasy, philosophy, and the human outlook on life combine in a mish-mash of... well, everything, really. I was raised on the Greek, Norse, and Egyptian legends, and as such I've tried to imbue that sort of philosophy to create a more "realistic" religion in the Celestial Lotus.
One thing about religion is that many principles are incredibly confusing. As an agnostic who has gone to church due to curiosity and family, I've had issues understanding the Holy Spirit. But it's not just religions today--I mean, look at the Norse god Loki. No one knows what side he's on or what he's doing, especially when it comes to horses. ;) Look at the Aztec concept of gender--the duality that is one. (Even more confusing are their gods' names.) Look at at the Greeks and their screwed up gods, where fathers ate their own kids for two generations, only to be sawed apart and made to barf up everyone. Check out their legends--I incest.
Okay I'm done making bad jokes.
Anyway, this will be mostly me rambling about the principles of each of the dragon gods and structure of the heavens (which you should still know nothing about, Night Vale). It will be riddled with me flailing for a way to explain things and also riddled with really bad jokes (Psyche! I wasn't done.), several of which have already slapped you across the face. Repeatedly. With a dead fish.
