Her dress was of a simple grey and a plain design, only a piece of turqouise ribbon adorning it around the hip. In her hand the tiny figure held a map, wrong side up, but she had given up on using it about twenty minutes ago. She knew she was still inside the school-building, but that was about it. There were no windows in the hallway she was in, so she wasn't even sure which floor she was on.
To put it simple: Lynea was lost.
It was in the afternoon - classes were over - and she had wanted to read up on some animals she had seen in the stables earlier in the library. Only problem was: she couldn't find it. The first year had a map of the school-grounds, but since she had never read a map before that didn't help at all.
She had asked people for directions but things like "The classroom for archery, then down the stairs and you're basically there" didn't help any more than the map did. She was a first-year, how was she supposed to know where the archery classes took place? How was she supposed to know which corridor was the "Imperial Corridor"? And who came up with descriptions like that?
She sighed, playing with her braid as she just sat down at the side of the brightly lit hallway. Lynea never liked being in somebody's way, but she didn't know where to go from here. Maybe someone would come and help her? Well, the worst that could happen would be a teacher finding her out after curfew, but if she explained herself that wouldn't cause too much trouble, right?
Still... Sitting in the hallway all by herself was scary. Sure, some people passed by, but nobody really saw the First Year. Or cared for her sitting there. And then the hallway was empty again. And Lynea was all alone. All by herself.
A single tear dropped down on her grey dress, darkening the fabric. She was scared when she was alone and this was not the first time in her time at the Academy that she had cried because of it. But this time she wasn't only alone, she was also completely lost.
ooc: there you go people. Lost Lynea crying for others to interact with her. It's something, right?
