Pearlmist Bridge & the Mote of Silver

Soaring from the cliffside to the first of the sequence of motes in Atlantis, Pearlmist Bridge is the only natural rock bridge in Atlantis. Thin and slender, it arcs gracefully over the basin below, framed on both sides by waterfalls.
Despite its beauty, the Bridge is in an almost constant state of conflict as the monsters from the Mistlands try to encroach into Atlantis. Although all of the rockmotes are fortified, the first one--the Mote of Silver--is one of the most heavily fortified, with three separate walls spanning the mote, creating three layers of defense as well as one on the far side of Pearlmist Bridge. Students from the Academy often go assist in the defense of the bridge as their first mission.
